How Big the Moon Is, According to One Three-Year-Old
A conversation I had with last night my daughter Kate, three years and seven months old:
Me: Which is bigger, the moon or the house?
Kate: The house.
Me: Which is bigger, the moon or a tree?
Kate: A tree.
Me: Which is bigger, the moon or a quarter?
Kate: No.
Me: No? What?
Kate: They're little.
Me: Which is smaller, the moon or a quarter?
Kate: A quarter.
Me: Which is smaller, the moon or a peanut butter jar?
Kate: The moon.
Me: So the moon is between a quarter and a peanut butter jar?
Kate: That's right, Daddy, you got it!
