I would guess that Lewis‘s 1986 book was cited most? Possible worlds is in everyone‘s mind now. 🤔

I debated with myself a great deal before leaving this comment. For, as the only one it would certainly stand out. And having been introduced to Dennett this year I am commenting way above my pay grade. Yet, with this internal debate I came to realize I was exhibiting the very compatibilism which Daniel Dennett espoused.

So, it is with that thought in mind that I mention that Daniel Dennett's inclusion in this list (though he certainly is and will be included in future and previous ones) is made bittersweet by his passing this year.. Let us take another moment to remember this great man. His appreciation for humor was rare in philosophical circles. His contributions will go on. He will be missed.
